Treatments That Get You Back in the Game
About Your Care
From minor and chronic aches and pains to major injuries, Dr. Sam Wagner, Dr. Mike Markowski, & Dr. Nick Agen will meet you wherever you are on your wellness journey. Whether treatment is provided in the gym or a location that’s convenient for you, our Doctors will consult with you to learn more about what you’re experiencing and what your goals are, then turn that into an action plan while educating you on how to maintain wellness, full-function, and prevent issues and injuries. The goal is to get you back into the game as soon as possible, not to place you on a treadmill of never-ending visits.
Here's what you can expect from your Rehab Lab treatments:
Appointments are 60 minutes where you’ll be assessed and treated. Dr. Sam, Dr. Mike, & Dr. Nick will work with you 1-on-1 to find the root cause of your symptoms and the patterns that cause them. With this approach, we can avoid them going forward.
Peace of mind and confidence. Any treatments you receive from Dr. Sam & Dr. Mike will be based on the latest medical research and techniques.
You will be treated as a partner in your chiropractic care. Dr. Sam & Dr. Mike will engage with you to investigate what you’re experiencing and will educate you on why certain techniques are being recommended and how you can maintain full function and wellness long term.
Treatment Modalities
Chiropractic Adjustments
A Chiropractic adjustment uses specific force in a precise direction that normalizes spinal function. The adjustment is applied to a joint that is fixated, "locked up", or not moving properly. Adjustments help return the bones to a more normal position or motion, restoring the body's natural healing.
Active Release Technique
Active Release Technique (ART) is a patented, state-of-the-art soft tissue massage technique. This movement-based, deep massage treats pain and injury in soft tissues: muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves.
Graston Technique
Graston Technique is a therapeutic technique that uses specific applied instruments to promote the mobilization of restricted tissue and muscular adhesions.
Dry Needling
Similar to acupuncture, Dry Needling is a manual therapy that incorporates the use of very thin single-use monofilament needles to treat soft tissue dysfunction. Dry needling can improve range of motion, decrease pain, and increase the function of the body.
Cupping
Cupping (also known as myofascial decompression) uses suction cups to pull the skin and superficial tissues upward allowing more space for the restricted muscles and fascia. In doing so, cupping decreases the friction between the underlying tissues. In addition, the region underneath the cups receives increased blood flow, which helps to rehydrate the tissue and creates a healing response from the cells in the area.
Rock Tape / Kinesiology Tape
Rock Tape microscopically lifts the skin aiding postural issues, decreasing inflammation via lymphatic drainage to damaged tissue, ensuring proper blood flow to specific areas, and alleviating tension from irritated joints. The tape is hypoallergenic and is made of material that allows musculature to be cued in its most functional position, providing for full range of motion and increased biomechanical efficiency.
Rehab & Corrective Exercises
We believe that movement is medicine, supporting patients with personalized exercise programs that combine corrective exercise, plyometrics, and strength training all while reinforcing positive movement patterns.
Class IV Laser
Class IV laser stimulates photobiomodulation, creating a cascade of biological events leading to decreased pain, improved circulation, and increased range of motion. This non invasive FDA approved treatment is an excellent alternative to non-pharmacological pain relief.
Stem Wave: Regenerative Medicine
Stem Wave is a non-invasive, revolutionary treatment that decreases pain and inflammation by prompting the body’s own stem cells to repair injured tissue without injections or surgery!
Blood Flow Restriction (BFR)
Rooted in a scientific breakthrough utilizing Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) during workouts & rehab, this technique combines light exercise with the body’s natural processes to give you amazing results and accelerate your training and rehab!
ARP Neuro Therapy
The ARPneuro is an FDA cleared, Class 2 medical device that introduces electrical signals to the body’s soft tissue through conductive electrode pads to provide therapeutic treatment, accelerated recovery, and pain relief.
